Ayo’s Adventure: Across the African Diaspora from Afro to Zulu Art Installation and StoryWalk

Location: The Robbins House

Discover a sculpture and StoryWalk inspired by the profound influence of the African diaspora on traditions in the U.S. and around the globe, while underscoring the vital role of storytelling in connecting us to our shared heritage. Installation and StoryWalk inspired by Ayo’s Adventure published by Barefoot Books.

Join us for the family-friendly Patriots’ Day celebrations in Concord, MA at the Concord Museum! Enjoy a lively storytime of our brand new book Rise Up!: Powerful Protests in American History (Barefoot Books) at 1:30pm and learn about 25 movements towards positive change that helped shape our country. Happening all day, you’ll have the chance to get hands-on with our community art project and tell us: “What do you stand for?” Plus, don’t miss our outdoor StoryWalk™ of Rise Up!
