Annual Memorial Day Commemoration in Concord

The annual Memorial Day Commemorations will be held on Monday, May 27. The West Concord Memorial Day Remembrance commemorations will begin at Percy A. Rideout Field at 9 a.m. then proceed to Kenneth J. Dunn Square. The Concord Independent Battery, Concord Minutemen, Concord Police Honor Guard and members of the CPCCC will participate in the ceremony in conjunction with Town of Concord veterans. 

Commemorations will continue in Concord Center at 11 a,n,, at which time those same participants will proceed to the green on Monument Square and place commemorative wreaths at the various monuments. The Roll of Honor will be read.  

 The Concord Independent Battery will fire several times throughout the morning.
