A Revolution of Her Own! – Deborah Sampson

The Women’s Parish Association of First Parish in Concord is happy to add to your 250 celebrations by presenting A Revolution of Her Own! – Deborah Sampson to be performed by critically acclaimed actor Judith Kalaora, Founder and Artistic Director of History at Play. Deborah Sampson, the first woman to professionally fight in and be honorably discharged from the American Military, captivates audiences in an immersive living history experience chronicling her life. In the final years of the American War for Independence, Deborah dressed as a man and enlisted in the 4th Massachusetts Regiment of the Continental Army.
