DESCRIPTION:Just in time for the 150-day countdown to Concord250\, NOA Gallery presents the first-ever solo show of New York artist Linda Puiatti\, Atmospheric\, at Newbury Court in Concord.\nPuiatti’s paintings are sought out by art lovers around the world\, and many are inspired by the years that she lived in New England. DESCRIPTION:To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution\, the Concord Museum will offer ongoing opportunities to gather as a community\, reflect on the founding of our nation\, and engage with the significance of our shared past for our present moment. Highlights will include three new special exhibitions\, a special speaker series\, a published catalog\, and expanded educational resources. Together\, these initiatives will showcase the incredible stories behind the eyewitness objects held at the Museum to illuminate the many different ways people experienced\, shaped\, and remembered the Revolution. \n  \n1774 and All That: Reflections on a Long Year of Revolution \nConcord Museum Forum \nThursday\, September 19 | 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. \nFree for in-person and virtual audiences \nNamed a best book of the year by The Wall Street Journal\, one of the most acclaimed and original colonial historians of our time\, Mary Beth Norton\, shares her landmark text 1774: The Long Year of Revolution chronicling the changes that occurred from December 1773 to April 1775—from the Boston Tea Party to the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Norton captures the tension and drama of this pivotal year in American history and brings it to life as no other historian has done before.
