Are you looking for extra enrichment for your children while they are home from school due to the pandemic? Gather some of their friends and sign up for a child-friendly, engaging historic tour of Concord. The Concord Museum and The Concord Visitor Center are teaming up to offer children exciting and fun opportunities to learn about history while attending to all COVID 19 protocols.
Concord 101 Walking Tour
This engaging 45 minute walking tour is deigned to make the history of Downtown Concord come alive for elementary-aged children. Learn about everything from the indigenous people who populated Concord to a notorious bank robbery on the Milldam. We will explore sites such as the Old Hill Burying Ground and the original schoolhouse where Henry David Thoreau taught.

Center of Revolution Walking Tour
The Concord Museum is offering our popular Revolutionary Walking Tour to small groups this fall! Take the short walk from the center of town to the Old North Bridge. Learn about the dramatic events leading up to April 19, 1774 and what really happened during the first battle of the American Revolution. Get up close to the monuments at the Bridge and the center of town and discover the stories behind them.
1-1.5 hours, 1 mile walk, mostly flat terrain, rain or shine
